During the warmer months we put the chickens in mobile chicken pens. The pasture pens consist of a mobile chicken house and electric netting, it is moved every other day to give them new pasture and bugs to eat. During the colder months we have the chickens in a fixed chicken coop and run. We’ve found this is the best way to keep the chickens warm and safe in the cold.
